I have a similar shot where a piece of seaweed attached to a rock has worn a circular path around it from being pushed and pulled by the tide and wind. Here the forces are wind alone and the marking less permanent. I like to imagine the grass just can’t resist drawing in the otherwise pristine sand surface.
